So you've read the homepage, figured out which kind of amp you need and what power capacities it runs at, and are looking to set it up. You've come to the right place. While I cannot help you configure your specific amp, because there are literally hundreds among hundreds of different car amp models as well as actual home theater amps, I will advise you on some of the things to look out for, which in turn will help you set it all up.
You're going to want to take a look at your cables, first of all. Refer to the featured image I have at the top of this post. See the standard layout of a typical amp? Now, your amplifier might have a different setup and the plug-ins can all be located in different places depending on the model. But they should all be labeled like so, which will make it much easier for you to install to a speaker set.
To actually configure your amp to your speaker's coordinating power consumption rate, refer to the meat of the content of my site, SoundAmps. There, I discuss a plethora of information, among all being how to purchase an amplifier to match your speakers/subwoofers. Believe it or not, this is extremely important. And because you are on this page on how to configure the amp, I am sure you know why, or at least you are about to find out. Your amp likely will let you choose at what capacity (measured in ohms) of current you'd like to send to the speakers. Do that correctly and your system won't decay in a week. Do it wrong, though, and you may be burning out your expensive hardware.
